By removing a terminal glucuronic acid, GA was converted into 18 β-monoglucuronic glycyrcinic acid (18β-GAMG), and 18-ALPHA-GAMG was synthesized by alkaline isomerization of 18β-GAMG. The EGFR inhibitory activity of 18α-GAMG was tested, and the results showed that 18α-GAMG showed the highest significant antitumor activity. However, more experiments are needed to confirm the anti-cancer efficacy of 18-ALPHA-GAMG.
